I'm having a (new) problem with iTunes. I downloaded an album from the net(not bootleg - it's a creative commons thing called Netbloc 25) which came with the usual cover art.

However, when I go into the Get Info Window, it won't add the artwork(a normal jpeg) if I drag and drop it or use Add...

The file goes into the info window OK but when I OK that and go back to play the track, no artwork!

If anyone had any ideas, let me know. I've tried the usual repair permissions

Hi

The tracks loaded ok for me and had artwork already included.

If you right click (or control + left click) the track in iTunes and
choose Show in Finder the icons should have the album artwork. If they
do then remove the tracks from iTunes (select and press delete) then
drag them back in.

Cheers
B.

I was because I downloaded the FLAC version and then converted it to AIFF to import into iTunes. Told iTunes to convert to AAC and it now lets me add the artwork.

I forgot that if you do 'Add to Library' rather than import, it doesn't apply the Import settings and I don't think you can add artwork to an AIFF track as part of it's header(what with it being such an ancient format?..)

Thanks for the help - it pointed me in the right direction
