Dear Mentors,

I hope you and yours are well.

Last night I received a text from my good friend, Jen, she is a nurse, the message was "Do you know anyone with a 3D printer?"  My response was that I know a few, of course I was thinking of you and Gail's email.

This is what I know so far.

The stl file for the mask can be download from this site Hack the Pandemic – Copper 3D | Antibacterial 3D Printing

I'm printing a test now with the PLA filament we had, the time estimate to print is 3 hours and 51 minutes.

Here is where the challenge comes in, the 1.75mm Copper 3D Plactive PLA filament is out of stock.  They have 2.85mm.

So a few of questions: does anyone have a printer that used 2.85 mm?  Can we buy a nozzle that work with 2.85 mm filament for our printers?  Is there any where else we can buy the filament?

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Warm regards and take care,
Karen
