This is a forwarded copy of the email of congratulation from Prof Ralph, Manny, Jene of the Operations Cluster.

As I have always maintained, this is your show and you deserve the glory.

In keeping with the Project management discipline, we need an evaluation for the closure to assess the project objectively. The charter, budget and plans are some basis. We need to identify the best practices in order to internalize and institutionalize these not only for the succeeding classes but even for future projects that you would be managing in your work place. We will also identify areas of improvement. As I mentioned to Mark, evaluation does not only take place when there is a disaster (like the hostage situation) which becomes a blaming game. It should always happen even in meetings or negotiations.

Thank you so much for the complement! 

I wish to however mention that the right credit belongs to the class. What I did was limited to providing them the process tools and I really left them to plan and execute the Forum. It was really their show.

Perhaps the success is also because we empowered them and did not get into the way even with their novel approach to the conduct of the Forum. I thank Ralph and the cluster and our reactor Manny for all the support particularly in persuading your students to attend. Maybe, because of the relevance of the topic, Ateneo college-wide should consider revisiting the topic (faculty conference?)
