Congresswoman Barbara Lee has proposed an alternative to President Obama’s request for continued Authorization for Use of Military Force.  Her peace resolution would put an end to America’s endless wars in the Middle East.  Please ask your Congressional delegation to vote no on President Obama’s request for a new blank check for war and pass Rep. Barbara Lee’s HJR30 instead.  As NPYM minuted in 2014, Quakers oppose the AUMF.

Also, please send to all in your meetings, worship groups, friends and family.
