Hi List,

I am verymuch new to this mysql-MMM. I have followed "http://mysql-
mmm.org/mmm2:guide" to installed in my 4 db boxes.

[root@dbmonitor ~]# mmm_control show
db1(192.168.65.180) master/ONLINE. Roles: writer(192.168.65.193)
db2(192.168.65.183) master/ONLINE. Roles:
db3(192.168.65.190) slave/ONLINE. Roles:
db4(192.168.65.191) slave/ONLINE. Roles: reader(192.168.65.194)

But this 192.168.65.193 & 192.168.65.194 not getting assigned
anywhere.

Hi Tarak,

mmm assigns IPs with ip addr, please check with "ip addr" if you can see
the IP.
Further, in your mmm_common* did you define eth0 or eth1 as interface?

Cheers,
Manuel.

Hi,

It's being resolved by creating a softlink of "/usr/libexec/mysql-mmm"
to "/usr/lib/mysql-mmm/" .

Thanks for support.

Hi all,

I think it's an mmm hardcoded bug thing, iirc it's linux distro dependent. The package/binaries works with a dynamic path, but the cnf files are hardcoded

Hi,Tarak

I got exact same problem, and after creating a softlink of '/usr/libexec/mysql-mmm' to '/usr/lib/mysql-mmm', the ip can be changed and problem resolved.
I want to know whether this is mysql-mmm bug or that is my setup problem, can you explain more detail about this solution?

Thanks
Frank
