Specialisation is becoming an obstacle to the aquisition of knowledge and an even greater barrier to making it effective . Academia define knowledge as what gets printed. But surely that is not knowledge, it is raw data. Knowledge is information that changes something or

somebody either by becoming grounds for action ,or by making an individual(or an institution) capable of different and more effective action .
