We are delighted to introduce a new eLearning programme for medical researchers, Research to Publication. This programme is designed to make getting published easier. With a selection of online modules, you will have the flexibility to complete the programme at your own pace, and in any order you like. 

Test this new programme! The first two modules are FREE to access: 

1) 
How to Write and Publish a Study Protocol

In this module you will cover:

  • The importance of research protocols
  • Writing tips for protocols
  • Guidance on developing and writing clinical trial protocols
  • Journal policies on clinical trial protocols
  • Guidance on publishing other types of study protocols

2) Introduction to Randomized Blinded Trialsproduced in collaboration with the University of California San Francisco 

At the end of this module you will be able to:

  • Define randomized blinded trials
  • Explain how to design RBTs
  • Describe how to choose the intervention and control conditions
  • Evaluate approaches to randomizing and blinding
  • Describe how to define outcomes and adverse effects

Once completed, you will receive a formal recognition with a certificate from The BMJ.
