This Friday, we'll be reading "Babylon Revisited." As you read the
story, what changes do you see occurring, both in Paris and in
Charlie? Do you think Charlie really has changed? Why or why not?

After reading this short story, I was like what in the world is this
guy thinking about. Who writes about a man in Paris during the great
depression. I'm not sure if i would read stuff like this. I don't like
the fact that a man locks his wife out in the snow. This story sound
like a man who was mad at his own wife, and then he write a short
story to tell how he feels toward her. I wasn't a big fan of this
short story, The man is sounds to crazy for me to read about .

It seems that Charlie is in Paris during the great depression becuase
it was an easier way to live. It wasn't a hard task to move and when
the depression hit the European cities changed and went back to the
European ways and changed alot. Charlie i believe has not changed at
all because he is just stupid and ignorant.

the story takes place in europe during and after the great depression.
the man tries to escape from the hardships in the US but it soon leads
overseas and just talks about the hardships it took to survive. and it
takes it even higher by talking about survival of the fittest because
in order to survive each person starts thinking on surviving by
depending on yourself and yourself only. the man even abondons and
leaves his wife out in the cold.

the story talks about how the man travels to europe to escape fromthe
great depression in the Us but realizes that it has traveled all the
way over the europe as well and it just talks about the during and the
after of the great depression. he also tries to find his daughter that
he hasn't seen a long time. i think charlie has chanuz of ll the
hardshiphe had to endure to survive the depression.
