In "Daddy" and "Lady Lazarus," what allusions does the poet make? Do
these poems seem too personal to you? What themes does Plath find
interesting?

These poems to me sound like a lady who always compares something to
another. Like in the poem daddy, she compares her husband to her daddy
and then she compares Hitler to Vampires. This lady has a wild
imagination.I',m didn't really like reading her poetry. Its already
hard enough for me to read it as it is.

In the poems, the author seems to like to talk about things that are
crazy. I believe that she is crazy actually. The poem Daddy talks
about how the father is seen as also being like Hitler and a vampire.
She also says that the character seems to have married a person that
is exactly like her father. I just believe that these poems are a
little strange and different.

The poet compares her husband to her dad and both of them to Hilter.
In a way the poems are to personal to me. She is interested in talking
about her life and what happened to her as a child aslo about death.

the author has a very descriptive and imaginative mind because of the
way she describes herself with her relations with her friends and
especially with hr father. i just assumer her father was abusive and
she didn't like him at all. since she didn't like him at all the way
she describes her father between a vampire and Hitler just hints
clearly of how she thinks of her father. but it shows a positive side
because she finds a way to express herself by writing and how she
feels.
even though she may have a negative atittude but it shows the reader
how it feels to be hurt

both poems have a connection of having abusive fathers or childhood.
plath describes the father being a abusive hitler and vampire. this
gives off the feeling that she hates her father and doesnt like the
way he treats her.
though she hs a wild imagination, it just hurts but at the same shows
how she is hurt and wants to express herself by her writings.
