Call for contributions: Yumi Tamura MMF

Hello!

I'm really excited to be hosting this month's MMF at Tokyo Jupiter, focusing on the manga artist Yumi Tamura.

This month's MMF is scheduled for the week of May 19th to May 25th.

Like most manga readers, my experience with Yumi Tamura started with her popular work, The Legend of Basara. It was the first time that I've read a manga that genuinely fit the description of an epic, with its characters, settings, and conflicts. She's remained as one of my favorite storytellers, so I am looking forward to reading your own stories and opinions on her works.

I would ask that you limit your reviews, thematic essays, podcasts, and other pieces to focus on the following works:

- The Legend of Basara, Viz, 27 vols

- Wild.com, Viz, 1 vol

- Chicago, Viz, 1 vol
