MMCYF Sportfest "Free BOUNCE"

Good day, the MMCYF Sportsfest entitled "Free Bounce" will be held
on October 21, from 6 AM-6PM and October 27, from 12 NN-6PM at Manila
Bible Seminary and Dapitan Sports Complex, respectively. The following
persons were assigned to be part of the steering committee of the said
event:

Outdoor: Paul and Miriam Lumbao
Parlor: John Jurado and Lheng Dizon
Logistic: Ruthie Nadela and Paul
Promotion: Jennelyn Salem

For the roles and responsibilities of each committees here are the
assigned duties being presented during our meeting last August 20, 2006
at Cruzada Church.
The Program Committee is responsible for the coordination of the
schedules, game format, rules and regulations of the Indoor, Outdoor
and Parlor Games. Before the event, their main function is the planning
of the overall program and sports sequence as well as time allotment
for every activity. During the event they will handle the opening &
closing assemblies and other gatherings like the orientation for each
cluster and break time activities.
The indoor, outdoor and parlor games are expected to plan and direct
during the event. They are authorized to pick key persons with
knowledge in officiating sports designated to them. They must
coordinate their plans to the Program Committee in regards to time,
details, rules etc. While the Parlor games committee must prepare lots
of games and creative activities which will includes water games for
everyone.
The Promotion Committee is divided into four main streams namely East,
West, North and South with different contact persons to effectively
promote in all Metro Manila areas. The overall Chairman must monitor
the promotion of every sector. The poster distribution (along with a
letter and pre-registration form) will start on August 27, 2006 during
the CWMM Anniversary Fellowship at Economia Church until October 20,
2006.
The Logistic Committee is assigned for the acquisition of all materials
to be used whether to buy or borrow. As early as first week of October,
all materials must be ready and available for the event.
The finance committee will work as the marketing agent of all fund
raising items like T-shirts, pins, bags, sun visors, towel etc. During
the event they are the one who will prepare snacks, collect fees and
sell fund raising items aside from accounting function.
Among other important details that were finalize consist of the color
code of every cluster and organizers to be their uniform in order to be
identified. For the committee, white; South, shade of green; North,
shade of red; West, shade of blue; East, shade of yellow. T-shirt must
be available on September 3 as part of the Marketing strategy of Free
Registration for buying T-shirt prior to the event for only P130.00.
The registration fee is P20 per sessions which will proceeds to snack
and other expenses.
Other suggestions from the group include mini fair, store, evangelism
call, praise and worship on the awarding program etc. which were not
yet finalized.
The next General meeting is set on September 3, 2006, 2PM at Cruzada
Church. All churches are encouraged to send their representatives
especially the Youth leader and Ministers and those with knowledge in
various sports to help us in carrying this evangelistic cause through
sports and fellowship.
