Let me explain what happened to me just some hours before. I went to mess, lifted the container where chapatis were kept, some 10-12 were there, I kept some in my plate, my conscience forced me to put it back to it, another disappointment and come back empty stomack to my room. And this has happened with me several times.

The issue is the mess guys make those chapatis some 1 hr prior to the starting time, make heaps of them hoping that they would last for next 3 hrs. And we all know that chappatis are best tasted when served freshmade. When I am paying for it, I expect the mess guys to serve me instantly made chapatis, not the cold old ones made 3 hr back. Its irritating to see these piles of cold chapatis during mess time and their chulha's off with guys chilling out in mess when actually they should be at their work and give us instantly made hot ones. 
This might appear a trivial issue for you keeping in mind the loads of work you are having but trust me, this is the most irritating issue with everyone, failed after complaining several times to the stubborn lazylike mess people. I hope you will take issue with mess staff and solve it as soon as possible as also endsems coming around.
