Dear friends,
We had a wonderful 2-day MCX-fest at our Boston campus and it was wonderful seeing many of you in person, as well as online via zoom.
check out some of the photos on twitter and (and follow my

Also,we put in a lot of efforts in completely migrating our previously developed power-point based training materials into Jupyter Notebook and Google Colab based interactive documents. A good news is that we will integrate these Jupyter notebooks into our software packages so everyone will have the chance to learn about many of the advanced features in mcx/mmc by having access to these materials.
With the new announcement of the Redbird-m toolbox (https://github.com/fangq/redbird-m), a compact yet comprehensive DOT reconstruction toolbox, we have also completed the circle in offering both computationally efficient forward solvers (MC and DA) as well as advanced inverse solvers. We will be continue developing and advancing Redbird-m toolbox under a recently renewed NIH breast DOT grant; 3 of our toolboxes, MCX, MMC and Redbird-m will be deeply integrated to create streamline forward/inverse data analysis capabilities.
Hope everyone who had participated this event had a good
experience. For those of you who could not attend, I look forward
to seeing you in our future events!
