Minutes: Disorientation Guideeee

Hey,

So a few of us met on Tuesday to discuss the radio show and disorientation guide.  We decide we'll talk more about general operations after we publish and distribute the Disorientation Guide at the First Look Fair.  Here are the notes...

Diego, James, Len, Steve, Adam, Christian

*That Fresh Radio Piece
1) We need to find a recorder...we have a recorder accessory but need an IPod to use it...Christian also has a mini disc recorder but needs to buy a mic
2) Next week's show will be about the Sustainability approach by the University and either the Cuban 5 or a teach-in on El Salvador

*Disorientation Guide
1) Christian will request a Line-Item transfer of $400 for the publishing of the Disorientation Guide...it should only cost at most $1 per Guide
2) Everyone should bring the name, summary, and contact info for 10 groups outside of UMD student groups...that can be university resources, college park, prince george's county, and the general DC metro area
3)  Send any media organizations to Diego...he'll compile an Independent Media Guide
4)  If you find out of an event by a student group this Fall, bring it to the meeting too!  Its for the pull-out calendar.

The timeline remaining will be:

Next week (Tuesday)- 1)Have all Student Group contacts entered into Database (2) start adding new off-campus/UMD contacts to database (3)confirm publishing plan

Following week- 1) compile calendar (2) Create template of guide

Final week- 1) publish! (2) distribute!
