In lieu of no mentoring session this week, please send your email out by Thursday afternoon and let us know of any questions/concerns. 

Please make sure of your fun day activity for session on April 10th - there will be no budget available for fun day this year, but feel free to reach out if you need help generating some ideas!

Volunteer Recruitment 

Last month, we only received 13 applications. We need a big push in April before session is over. To reach our goal of 200 Mentors this September, we are aiming for 40 applications in April. Please support by keeping this top of mind for your mentors. Over 50% of applicants come to us through word-of-mouth, so their involvement is critical. Please make sure to encourage your mentors to push volunteer recruitment and leverage their recruiting toolkits to do so.

Please continue to keep volunteer recruitment top of mind for your mentors: 

• Explore the recruitment toolkit for ideas. 

• Remind your team about upcoming Information Sessions on April 13 and April 28.

• Sign your team up for the Virtual 5K! It’s a great way to build community and support volunteer recruitment. Register here.

We have only heard from 45 Mentors about their plans for next year. Please have everyone on your team complete this survey ASAP, but no later than April 4. You can view responses in the Junior Roster in the tab "Next Year's Plans - MENTORS".
