Hi TLs,

Please see details on what you need to know for Saturday’s session below. Please send your email out by Thursday afternoon and let us know of any questions/concerns for this week.

What TLs Need to Know:

Agenda

  • This week, it will be the last session and we will reflect on the full year.

  • TLs can share the following:

    • I am most proud of....

    • I am most thankful of...

    • When I saw you all doing X, it made me.....

  • Questions for the team:

    • What were a few highlights of our team this year?

    • How did we come together as a team? What did we accomplish?

    • What were our challenges? How did we address them?

    • Is there anything that we would like to do differently next year as a team?

    • How can we support each other as a team during the summer?

  • We will also plan to review the Summer Checklist and the college bucket list (referenced in Summer Checklist)

Summer Expectations

  • During the summer, we would love for you to:

    • Schedule & Host two virtual social activities (once in June, again in July)

      • 1 hr commitment; as many mentees and mentors that can attend

    • Support materials & data collection from students

Next Year’s Plans

  • We have still not heard from about 50 Junior Mentors about their plans for next year. Please check to see who from your team has not responded (you can view responses in the Junior Roster in the tab "Next Year's Plans - MENTORS") and ask them to complete the this survey ASAP

Volunteer Recruitment

  • Please continue to keep volunteer recruitment top of mind for your Mentors. This week, we're asking Mentors to try recruiting co-workers again (see tip of the week in the mentor section).

  • As always, feel free to explore the recruitment toolkit for ideas! We also have an information session coming up on April 28
