Five reasons why Windows is better than Ubuntu Linux

1. Windows troubleshooting have become a way of life… (when there is
no virus to clean, life become boring & many will be unemployed!)

2. Windows boot time is just the right amount of time an average user
need to start the work… (any sooner, computer will be way ahead of
man!)

3. Windows cost just the right amount that we need to save every
month… (if it is free we will lose the joy of saving and longing!)

4. Windows experience of slowness with time is in tune with nature…
(if the computer is always as fast as the first time, we can’t handle
it!)

5. Windows asking us silly dialog box questions make us superior…
(Without which we will start getting phobic about its intelligence)

Summary: Windows is for retards. If you use Windows, then you are a retard. Get help and use another OS. I  recommend that you use Linux. I hear it has many more advantages and makes you not retarded.

I beg to differ. My comment was a bit tounge in cheek but being harsh
is the way to go. Harsh critisism abt the fact a few people in gov.
Makes unwise unreserched IT policies. I hear they are going to
purchase licenses and are in the process of discussions with m.s. Good
day if we pet on the back and reccomend not to do otherwise. We need
to be vocal. Harsh critism of whoever decided to buy m.s licenses and
waste tax money. And this goes to individuals as well.

When you use harsh words against a wrong of a majority it doesnt
become personal. This is somewhat like politics. You need negative
propaganda, you need to ridicule, you need to mock. If im using
windows and someone calls me a retard for wasting my resources and
time, i'll be defencive first, but I will also want to know deep
inside if they are right. Why they are so passionate abt Linux. I will
want to learn this Linux thing and be an underdog. Thats one part of a
complex plan to start a revolution.

Truth is windows is for the retard, can't fight with that! It is sad
but true! Sad because majority of people are known to use windows! I
humbly excuse myself from this list... :)

However there is one exception, still when it comes to gaming, windows
rocks!

Than again when it comes to designing and creative works, right now
mac rocks!

So where does Linux stands? As far as I can see, Linux is for those
who want to take advantage of better security, stability and
customization... So I can concentrate on what is more important, my
work!

Simple said I am more productive with Linux!

Very informative link. New users have to remember that linux is not
windows. It will take some time to learn it because it's different.
Just like it took a bit of playing around to get used to windows when
you used it for the first time. If you come across problems or if you

Of course we can't generalize all windows users. There are some who
are forced to using windows for various reasons like having to use a
windows dependant custom software used in the work place. But these
users also have the option of using wine or virtualisation. Flamewars
are good. Keeps the place alive and gets out opinions.

It is not about really Windows, it is about knowing what is going on
in the inside, sharing and customization. FLOSS is more about free as
in freedom, ability to learn, change, use and share... For whatever
reason why would someone prefer slavery over freedom?

Shunan, you are starting too. Demonizing windows will not win the hearts
and minds of Windows users. We have to be those helpful guys who support
windows users in the transition from windows to linux.
