Active Directory

hi Guys,

I'm trying to get my office switch over to Ubuntu (atleast start with the desktops).. here are the problems I am facing and I'd like some help, if you can .. pls.

- The mail system is on MS Exchange. (this cant be changed.. for now)

- Email from within office can be used if I am logged into the active directory system.. otherwise I have to use the mail web interface

How can I connect the Ubuntu box to the active directory? I tried Likewise-open .. unsuccessfully so far..

yup. Evolution it is. I have been using it with Microsoft Exchange server without any issues.

mapi still doesnt support Exchange 5.5 (2007) i guess?

Nope, it fully support upto Exchange 2010 but with a bit of hacking!
