[MLUG] Email-to-Matrix bridge: looking for volunteers.

Hi folks,

A quick reminder that our Matrix server is available at mlug-au.org and you can connect to it using the web client available at https://matrix.mlug-au.org or your own client of choosing (e.g., The Element desktop client, or the Element X mobile client).

There are a few of us who have started work on the bridge that will eventually connect this mailing-list to a Matrix room for full inter-operation. I'm still looking for volunteers to help out though (code, documentation, design, every bit helps).

We currently have a short design doc that outlines the proposed features at: https://github.com/kcexn/bolte-bridge/blob/main/docs/high-level-design.md

There's an open issue at https://github.com/kcexn/bolte-bridge/issues/1 where everyone can raise their concerns about the current design and ask for features.

I'm planning on leaving the design RFC open for another week or two. Then I will start breaking the implementation down into issues that anyone is welcome to open a pull-request towards.
