Hi everyone,

I'm trying to decide what the most convenient way to make the papers
that Danny asked for last week available for everyone to read. (One is
in-press, the other is behind the IEEE paywall).

I have considered uploading them to a Google drive folder and sharing a
public link.

I don't know if anyone can think of a better option? Unless Duncan is
happy to host some extra files on the mlug-au website.

I have considered using an IPFS pinning service, but I don't know how
convenient that is for everyone. Has anyone used Pinata or a similar
service before?

Hi Kevin,

You can host them on mlug-au.org if you like, Duncan has admin rights
and can upload PDFs, etc with links.

It's hosted on my server and backed up remotely with encryption.

iPFS also outputs to regular http. You don’t need to use iPfs to simply download from it.

Thanks Michael! Duncan's got it sorted. I'm sharing two relevant papers:

  • "A Model for Data Processing on Warehouse-Scale Computers" @ 2024 IEEE BigData.
  • "Latin Square Job Scheduling for Distributed Data Processing on Warehouse-Scale Computers" @ 2024 IEEE/ACM Utility and Cloud Computing (UCC).

Just for you Danny. 😁
