Hi everyone,

The next meeting is 3 weeks from tomorrow (Monday). I have reset the
attendance list and updated https://mlug-au.org. Here's the URL for the
online meeting anyway: https://meet.jit.si/mlug-au

We have 1 talk scheduled, so there is room for one more if anyone else
has something they'd like to share.

Zak, I'm assuming you can give your Containers talk this month and that
your work commitments don't keep you away again. Let me know if you'd
like to withdraw it.

Do put your name on the attendance list (on the website) if you'd like
to have an in-person meeting again next month. I book the venue once we
have 4 names: if you find you're the 4th person to register then drop me
or the group an email so I know.

I know it's over 3 weeks from now. but if people who *expect* to come
could please put their names on the list then we might manage to
get the dining room again.

Cheers ... Duncan.

Hi everyone,

There being 4 names on the list, I booked the GNH dining room fo 25th
August.

There's still room for another talk. I might find the time to put
together something about TCP/IP as Malcolm suggested a few months back.
Other offers very welcome though.

I booked for 6 people so for my own peace of mind can anyone else
intending to come please put their name on the attendance list.

Cheers ... Duncan.

Hi everyone,

The next meeting is this coming Monday.
As well as Zak's talk on containers, I'll be giving a talk on TCP/IP Basics.

Cheers ... Duncan.

Hi Duncan, et all,

Sorry I won’t be able to attend this meeting today. Crazy work stuff.

Promise next month I’ll be able to come, and I’ll do my talk then. It will mostly be a history lesson and differences over time and how we got to where we are today, not so much on actual practical use.

Hope you all are doing well!

This diagram of the state transitions is very useful to follow along - it's published everywhere, this was a 10sec search
