Next Meeting - 26th May

Hi everyone,

The next meeting is 3 weeks from Monday. I have reset the attendance
list and updated https://mlug-au.org. Here's the URL for the online
meeting anyway: https://meet.jit.si/mlug-au

We have yet to schedule any talks: does anyone have something they'd
like to share?

Do put your name on the attendance list (on the website) if you'd like
to have an in-person meeting again next month. I book the venue once we
have 4 names: if you find you're the 4th person to register then drop me
or the group an email so I know.

Hi everyone,

The next meeting is 1 week from Monday and there is still only my name
on the attendance list. I need 4 names before I can (try to) book the
GNH.

If you can't get to the attendance list from the website then you can
use <http://visualsynth.com/mlug/> to add your name. (It's not working
for me via the website right now: some kind of DNS issue with
nerdcruft.net (Danny Robson's website)).

No talks yet. Any volunteers?

Do we still not have 2 weeks from Monday? 

I am always scared to put my name down, as I work alone - so am 24/7 and emergencies can always come up. Last time I did I wasn’t able to go.

Hi Zak,

Yes you are right - it is 2 weeks from Monday not 1.

As long as you *plan* to come it's fine to put your name down. You get there
most months anyway.

Hi everyone,

Next meeting is 26th May, 1 week from today. We have 4 names on
the attendance list so I've booked the Dining Room.

No talks are scheduled yet. I could talk about bash loadable
builtins or setting up your dektop to be a Wireless Access
Point if either would interest anyone.

Oldherl, would you still like to give us your talk on Chinese
timezones?

For my own peace of mind, will those intending to come please
put their name on the attendance list.
