Dear All,

Registrations will be open this Monday, June 24 for the 2019 Brisbane MLTAQ Primary Multi Language Speech Contest which will be held at Griffith University Nathan Campus on Sunday, September 8. Registrations will be open until Friday, August 9.

All documents (including speeches) can be found at
https://www.mltaq.asn.au/conference-information/2019-mltaq-multi-language-speech-contest-primaryhowever I am attaching the rules and registration form here for your convenience. Word versions will be available on the page link.

Please note that there is a two step process for registrations this year. Teachers will need to fill out the form for each language and email that to the respective Convenor (details are on the form) and copy me in at mltaqspe...@gmail.com to assist with logistics. There is then an online link in the form which will direct you to online payments. Instructions are on the form so it should be a relatively easy process and assist with making payments for all languages possible in one go. Languages participating this year are French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish.

Thank you for your support of our speech contest. We look forward to welcoming you, your students and their families to Griffith University on Sunday, September 8. The contest will run from approximately 9am with the Awards Ceremony commencing at approximately 1:15. Medals will be presented at the Awards Ceremony and highly commended certificates will be distributed to teachers on the day who may choose to present these at a school assembly. We ask that all medal recipients attend the Awards Ceremony if possible. Do not hesitate to contact me, the Brisbane Contest Convenor, or the Primary Contest Co-Convenors Ngaire and Cassie should you have an questions. It is all systems go!

Yours sincerely,
