Brisbane MLTAQ Multi Language Speech Contest Convenor
Dear Everyone,
I am thrilled to present the 2019 Brisbane MLTAQ Multi Language Speech Contest flyer. Many thanks to Judy Williams, incoming MLTAQ President, who designed the flyer. She has done a brilliant job!
Please feel free to print and display this at your schools to help promote the contests. The PDF version is attached here. I will be at some MLTAQ events which are happening in April to give an update on the contests and Griffith University will be providing some printed flyers which I will be able to distribute then for your convenience.
We look forward to seeing many schools involved this year and on behalf of the Brisbane team I would like to thank everyone who has come together to make this happen for the students of Brisbane. We look forward to many years of celebrating languages together at Griffith University Nathan Campus our major sponsor.
None of this would be happening without the support of MLTAQ President, Kathryn Tominaga, and Griffith University’s Dr. Leigh Kirwan. They have supported us all the way and just look how far we have come in 2 short years. Monica Kim convened the Primary Contest in 2017 and in 2018 I convened the Secondary Contest. Now we have 7 languages and counting. Go Team Brisbane!! This is really happening and we are all very excited. See you at the Brisbane MLTAQ Multi Language Speech Contests on Sunday, August 4 and Sunday, September 8.
Your sincerely,
