Greetings All,
I believe some of y'all are coming to Ann Arbor for UpClose tomorrow. I just want to share some advice from my experience from attending UpClose last year, and being a current MBA1 at Ross. I cannot express how vital it is to ask ANY and ALL questions you have. It would be a disservice to yourself if you do otherwise. Last year, I asked "How far is the nearest barber that cuts black men hair?", "Is there any place that sells west indian food?" Now of course, I I did not ask those question to a panel of professors but on the side to MBA1s and MBA2s.
UpClose is a chance for you to interview Ross and to see if Ross is a good fit for you. You may have heard already, and if not, you will begin to hear that selecting the appropriate B school is all about "fit". Selecting a business school is committing to a long term investment. So definitely do your research and ask tough, basic, off the wall questions. Whatever you need to get the necessary information to help you make your decision.
I consider you all to be my MLT class. Thus please let me know if you need ANYTHING. A few of you all already email/call/text me- keep it coming!
Safe travels and look forward to catching up this weekend.
For those not attending UpClose, and you have question regarding Ross or B school, please reach out to me.
