Hi,

I've been beta-testing MLO-iphone, but I never was satisfied with its
usage (and grey interface). On MLO-PC I have built a filter that shows
my active tasks sorted by star-duedate-(importance). So the tasks I
want to work on (starred) are on top. Next are all due tasks. I cannot
create any sorting order in MLO-iPhone, and the default does not work
for me.

So I reinstalled MLO-viewer and was surprised (again) by the
functionality already in the app. But, on the other hand, some
information is missing (star, context).

I wish to use MLO on my PC, but I need an iphone-counterpart that is
usable. In the mean time I switched to Toodledo, but that's not it.

Do you still plan to update the app?

Hi,

the original idea - back in March - was to withdraw MLOViewer from the
AppStore once the official app is out. Honestly, I expected it within
weeks back then. We all did :)

I've also been beta testing MLO-iPhone and I was missing the same
feature - basically "today's tasks". Nobody really complained about it
in the beta forum, but I see now a lot of posts in the MLO-iPhone
forum requesting just this. My guess therefore is that the MLO team
will include this soon in the official app.

So to answer your question. I will keep MLOViewer on the AppStore
until the official app implements the "missing" features - today's
tasks, switching between Due Tasks and Outline, rapid task entry. I
might even do a small update over the Christmas. But don't expect too
much - I am still limited to the attributes present in the XML export
file!

P.S. I already bought the official app - that's how much I believe
that the missing features will be implemented soon :)

Regards,

Frenya

Frenya,

I also bought MLO-iPhone, but I think I will wait for full usage until
version 2.
On the desktop I'm using custom filters, and automatic formatting and
I need that on the iphone for usability.

Thanks,
Werner
(however, I'm re-investigating how I can make the basic 'active
actions' work...; the pc-application is just fabulous)
