Join Machine Learning NorthEast for a coding dojo on Linear Regression on Tuesday 29th September at 6.30pm. And Pizza. Yes, really!
In general, regression is a family of techniques for predictive modelling, which means it spits out a predicted value for each input value. At a really basic level, Linear Regression plots a ‘line of best fit’ to do this. We’ll kick off with the basics of 2D regression, as well as look at confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
