What if I fail in my effort to become a "Platinum"?

Here is a question (Q:) posed by a web surfer today at another site,
and here is the answer (A:) I gave hime:

Q: I want to become registered with Amway Global but I am scared that
I would not earn money but rather lose it?

A: If you are scared right now, the correct action for you to do is to
NOT become an IBO right now.

You need to learn more about the Amway business specifically and
business in general. Amway is a solid company that will not leave you
short, lie to you, short you, etc., so that part should be easy for
you to figure out and verify yourself.

The part about business in general requires more personal education on
your part. The first thing you should learn is that NO BUSINESS will
be without risk. Anyone telling you different is either lying to you,
or business ignorant. In fact, they are probably both!

The odds are great that you will NOT become a Platinum, and it's not
because of anything to do with Amway. It's because the so-called
"odds" are a measurement of our fellow human beings, and as a group,
they always fail.

Sounds negative, and it it, but here is why I can safely say this and
be statisically correct - name any field of endeavor that requires
skill and talent and dedication and the masses of people will fail.
Sad, but the truth can hurt.

Take any of these fields and ask yourself if it's not true - tennis,
music, business, college, real estate, acting. In fact, everything.
Why? Because most people in ANY group fail, HOWEVER, there are always
a few who succeed.

For example, most fail to graduate from college. Most are not
successful at selling real estate. Most do not make it into major
league baseball, and the list could go on forever.

The point is this, you can succeed with your own Amway business or you
could fail, and the biggest determinate of that is whether you have
the determination to educate yourself. To do that, you need to figure
out what's needed to succeed and I suggest that you get with someone
who is already successful at what you want to do and learn what they
did to do that, and do that BEFORE you register yourself.

I hope this helps. It's by no means a complete list, but it should
shock you enough to make you think and yet still encourage you because
when you do succeed with it, you will not only create a nice income
and earn your financial independence from a job, bt you will also gain
the best thing from it, i.e. a financial education.
