The Kickoff is Coming!!
Monday, October 18th
6:30pm at GIAC
The MLK Community Build would like to extend an invitation to our whole community to come
celebrate with us on October 18, 2010 at GIAC (map).
Our first major project was to get 10,000 copies of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s last book “Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community?” reprinted especially for people in the Tompkins County area.
Copies of the book will be available to all free of charge, but donations will be gladly accepted.
Schedule of events for the Kick-Off, 6:30-8:30 pm:
**Following the program there will be a reception and book distribution.

- Prayer by Dr. Eric Clay, M.Div., Ph.D.
- Overview of the MLK Community Build
- Keynote speaker, Sean Eversley Bradwell, PhD, Ithaca College Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity
- Performance by Vitamin L
- Cal Walker will read from "Where Do We Go From Here?"
- Performance by The Community Unity Music Education Program
**Following the program there will be a reception and book distribution.
