The reason I read this list is to hear my peers comment about (among other
things) vendors. I need to hear good comments and bad comments. This is no
different than the things I heard at ISPCON, for example.
Most of us know that there are two sides to every story. However, sometimes,
as in this case, the comments become rather one-sided. In the case of Card
Services International, comments have stacked up on the negative side. In
the case of EFS, the comments have stacked up on the positive side.
Vendors, take note and adjust policy, etc. accordingly. Your day is only
ruined if you fail to learn something new.
Regarding credit card processing: We use EFS. We had a rocky start, due to a
rather poor negotiation effort by our bank. EFS went out of their way to
make things right. We are satisfied.
