I've always been annoyed by setup fees. In most cases I'd say such fees are
only to pay commissioned sales people. It's a poor marketing model IMHO.
Granted there are cases of legitemate equipment fees for setup. So that's
what they should be called, Equipment Fees. But I'm digressing here.
Sue, I apprciate your taking the time to attempt to work through some of the
problems many of the members of this list have expressed with CSI. It is
uncommon valor. I must say you have an uphill battle on your hands. I
personally wouldn't touch CSI with a 35' nuclear cattle prod. If you were
with a different company, we could talk. But you really have no control
over what CSI corporate does. You're just a sales person for an independent
agent if I am not mistaken.
I find it ironic that a financial industry service so hell bent on
protecting the security of credit card transactions is markted by shysters
with all of the integrity of your average used car salesman.
