I have installed fedora-20 (kernel version-3.11.3) on a DELL Machine which has 160GB hard disk and 2GB RAM. I want to set-up linux-pnfs kernel-3.12.0-rc3 on it.

For this I downloaded pnfs kernel from (http://git.linux-nfs.org/?p=bhalevy/linux-pnfs.git;a=snapshot;h=refs/heads/pnfsd-lexp;sf=tgz) which is 116 MB and Compile and install it according to (http://www.howopensource.com/2011/08/how-to-install-compile-linux-kernel-3-0-in-fedora-15-and-14/
& http://www.howtoforge.com/kernel_compilation_fedora) on my fedora-20 OS Machine.

I firstly implement it on Oracle VM and there it is implemented successfully but on Actual Hardware (whose description is in first line) it is not booting.

It(pnfs-kernel) compile and install successfully and at boot-up grub showing both kernels(linux-3.11.3 and pnfs-3.12.0) but if booting pnfs-3.12.0 then after loading it stops and donot displaying any error while linux-3.11.3 is successfully booting on same machine.
Please help me.
