Hi, everyone!

With many thanks to Nelson Abramson, I have successfully *compiled* and
*installed* my kernel. At first, USB didnt work, but I figured out what
was going wrong, and fixed that. :) Now, when I start up, it tells me

hda: lost interrupt

and sits there, telling me the above message until I reboot.

oh im so excited, this kernel is installed, compiled, and everything...
all I need to do is get this IDE bug figured out (I'm assuming its
IDE).

Computer in question: Yos Rev 1 G3/350.
Kernel in question: 2.4.0-test6 from linuxcare.com.au
(yes, I'm aware -test7 is out, I'd rather not have to use it, but will
if necessary)

.config in question | grep IDE:

If you're reading the archives, have no fear. I will post a followup to
this with my complete path starting with the FB. overflow: error and
getting the 2.4 kernel compiled.
