The Sacramento Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility announces its 2009 Scholarship Essay Contest, open to high school seniors in Sacramento and surrounding counties (Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba). Students may enter the contest by submitting an essay of 500 words or less describing their thoughts on the following statement by the great genius of the 20th Century, Albert Einstein: "We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind is to survive." | |
