Hi,

First up, Our students are LOVING playing with this tool - thanks so much for an amazing resource.

We have a regular occurence of captured webcam inages appearing but then turning into a red block with "blob: https..." appearing which we have to clock on the x to remove (see attafhed pic)

Some students never have this problem.  Some students have it almost constantly. They are all using the same webcam (Logitech HD720).  They are storing in the Web Browser.

I'm guessing it's an error in reading the file and displaying it?  Any ideas what might be causing it?

Best Regards,
David

I don't know what would cause this, sorry. The reference to "blob" isn't a bad thing - all the images are stored as blobs. There is just something about the data stored there that the browser isn't recognising as a valid image.

Would you be able to collect a log of this happening, please?  Instructions for how to do this are at https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/#!/debug (for step 3, you would create a new image that is fails to display as in your photo)

The log you download after doing that would hopefully contain a detailed enough description of the problem that would let me fix it.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Kind regards

D
