to Machine Learning for Kids

Dear All,

I want to add arduino extention to scratch 3 as now it's the only version that supported by Machine learning for kids. How can I do that please as I need to finish my project as soon as possible please.

What do you mean by this? It's true that there haven't been any new updates to it for a while, but I haven't removed it

Is this an extension you've written yourself? Or a general one?

Thank you for your quick reply

What I meant, before you had the older version which can accept any extension but now with Scratch 3, I had some issue.

The extension is a general one and not done by me.

Please your advise

For anyone else who comes across this thread, this user replied to me privately so I responded there.

The summary of what we discussed:

- I still do have Scratch 2 on the ML for Kids site, but am not actively improving/developing it - because it is based on Adobe Flash which is no longer supported. (And in fact, prompted by this discussion I took another look at https://www.adobe.com/uk/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html which has got me thinking that it is time that I did remove Scratch 2 from the site - which I raised https://github.com/IBM/taxinomitis/issues/437 to track

- The extensions that this user wanted to use are from another fork of Scratch - https://github.com/MrYsLab/s3onegpio

I contacted the developer of that fork to ask if they would be willing to let me add their extensions to the version of Scratch running in ML for Kids - they very kindly granted permission for this - https://github.com/MrYsLab/s3onegpio/issues/85

This is not going to be a quick piece of work, so it may take me a little while - both before I will have time to start, and to actually do the work itself.

I've made a start in porting the extensions across. My first attempt is now live at https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/scratch3/ but I haven't tested them at all, so I can't vouch for whether I've done everything correctly.
