Hello,

I have a project with 24 students and I find that in the project they are creating they can only test the learning model 5 at a time.
As they are doing in class, many are left unable to test the model.
Would there be a possibility that you would give permission for the 24 to try it out at the same time?

Thank you very much in advance,

Dale Lane

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "they can only test the learning model 5 at a time".

Are you saying that you have trained one single ML model that you have shared with your entire class, and all 24 students are attempting to submit test values to that model to be classified at the same time?
If so, I don't have any restrictions that would prevent that. So could you give more details about the error that you're seeing, please?

If you're not saying that, could you instead perhaps describe what you're trying to do, please?

Kind regards

D

Hello,

No, that's not it.

Each student has their own different project.
As class time is the same for everyone we find that no more than 5 students can test their model at a time.
They can fill containers but cannot test the model as apparently with each teacher account only 5 students can test their model at a time.
I don’t know if I explained myself well. If you need more clarification tell me.

Thank you very much.

Ah I see - so the problem isn't with testing, but with training the model. I think what you're saying is that only five of your students can train a model at once.

That is not a restriction enforced or applied by Machine Learning for Kids.

I assume that you have an unmanaged class.
I assume that you're using Watson API keys that you've created yourself.
I assume that you've created a single Watson Assistant instance and that you selected the Lite plan.

If those assumptions are correct, then this limit is enforced by IBM Watson. It's the limit referred to when you create the API key. (see the screenshot below). It is not a limit that I can influence.

If those assumptions are not correct, or if my questions are unclear, please look at the diagram in https://groups.google.com/g/mlforkids/c/bS9nooCdiyw which is another way of explaining this.

Kind regards

Dale

Thank you very much for your clarifications.
