Face Detection extension not working?

I tried to test out the Face Detection extension by doing

   set x to x coord of nose on webcam

but I only get zeros back. The webcam is working; I can see camera images on the stage.

In the JavaScript console I see:

mlforkids] Unexpected response from model []      index.js:335

I'm running in Chrome 142.0.7444.134 on an Ubuntu Linux machine.

The normal reason I would expect to see "Unexpected response from model []" in the console is if the model didn't find anything recognised as a face in the webcam. 

Would you mind sharing more from the console, please?

Here is the entire console log. The program was running and the webcam was displaying successfully on the stage, with my face clearly visible.
