I can make a Scratch 3 project out of my ML model, and I can save it to my computer.

What I cannot do is both the following:
  • I cannot open the local Scratch 3 project is the Scratch app (Windows 10)
  • I cannot load the local Scratch 3 project on scratch.mit.edu in order to share it. Currently, I'm unable to share the output of my project with anyone. Once I close the browser tab (on machinelearningforkids.co.uk) I lose all my project.
Is this working as designed? or I'm missing something?

You need to use the versions of Scratch that are provided by the Machine Learning for Kids site. They can be launched by clicking the Scratch, or 'Scratch 3', buttons from your project page.

The version of Scratch at https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/scratch3/ has been modified to add support for the artificial intelligence capabilities. This means that ML projects need to be opened in the version of Scratch at https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/scratch3/

That doesn't mean you can't share it with anyone. It just means that if you share your project with someone, you need to tell them they have to open the sb3 file using https://machinelearningforkids.co.uk/scratch3/

Kind regards
