To be admitted for the program, students need a minimum of 65% in honours degrees with a pass in the following:
Mathematical statistics or statistics
Mathematics (preferably Calculus and Linear Algebra)
Programming subject or at the discretion of the Programme Organiser
Once your academic transcript can prove and reflect core modules in mathematics, statistical or linear algebra, and computer science(e.g., data structure, Java, or C++), I don't see why you will not pass the screening exercise. It is a highly competitive program, so prerequisite courses must be taken for a grade at an accredited college or university (or the international equivalent) rather than coursera courses or online certification. If your previous degrees are foreign, you will need to apply to the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) to have your degrees accredited. Your SAQA certificate will need to be included in the documentation of your online application.
