% rewrite char

I notice that mlapd doesn't accept email address in the form

local%domain

that trivial-rewrite postfix rewrite to

local@domain

mlapd doesn't but that feature has been disabled in postfix, by default, from 2

also, as per rewriting readme: "Typically, this is used in order to deal with monstrosities such as "user%domain@otherdomain", so I'm not sure replacing % with @ would do the job correctly.

Yes, I read about "monstrosities" :)
I agree this is a particular situation. I found this useful time ago with some oddity in transport from Sun Messaging Server and Postfix. Ok if you don't like to handle '%'.
