Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, established in 1983 is an autonomous institute affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The institute offers nine undergraduates, eight postgraduate and six doctoral programs. Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department is established in 1999. Faculty members of Department of E&TC Engineering are involved in funded research, consultancy activities and training programs in the domain of VLSI design, embedded system design, signal and image processing, machine learning, deep learning etc.
Medical imaging concentrates on the capture and display of images for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Modern imaging technology is 100% digital. With the emerging deep learning tools, medical image analysis is a much sought-after topic for research and project development. Its use has been increasing exponentially in the recent years. To bring the best of imaging techniques and technologies together, Department of E&TC Engineering has organized AICTE sponsored STTP on Medical Image Processing & Image Analysis during 2-12-2019 to 7-12-2019. Faculty members / Students / Industry persons can participate in this STTP.
Eminent personalities from Research, Healthcare and Industry sectors are invited as speakers for this program. Academicians from premier institutes like IITs, Specialist Doctors and Project Development Consultants from Industry are amongst the session experts of this program. Hands on sessions are included to make the sessions relatable to real life projects.
This being an AICTE sponsored program, no registration fee is involved. The registrations are limited and will be accepted on first come first serve basis. Accommodation will be given as per availability.
