MLSP
workshop is the flagship event of the MLSP Technical Committee of the
IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) and is fully sponsored by the SPS.
Its
primary objective is to bring together leading experts, researchers, and
industry professionals to explore the latest advancements, challenges,
and opportunities in machine learning for signal processing.
The
conference will be held in Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International
Convention and Exhibition Center. Istanbul is a city with a rich
history, and distinctive natural beauty, and we look forward to
welcoming you there. Please note the visa requirements for Turkey are
relatively light. Citizens of more than 175 countries may travel to
Turkey without a visa or with an easy to obtain e-visa. Moreover,
Istanbul airport is a major international hub with direct flights
available from many airports.
This year, the theme of the workshop will be 'Signal Processing in
the age of Large Language Models'. We invite you to submit contributions
that push the envelope of our understanding of machine learning for
signal processing. These contributions include,
- Fundamental methodological contributions for machine learning, and signal processing
- Applications of Machine Learning to real world problems
- Applications of Machine Learning in societally significant problems
More specifically, the topics covered in MLSP 2025 include but are not limited to:
- Explainable Machine Learning / AI
- Machine learning on Graphs
- Machine Learning for Speech and Audio
- Meta learning
- Continual learning
- Privacy and fairness in ML
- Applications of machine learning
- Biosignal processing and learning
- Decentralized and edge ML
- Deep learning methodology
- Large Language Models
- Multimodal Machine Learning
