Post-doc position is available to work on combination of biological and chemical models and machine learning. The goal is to model the production of recombinant adeno-associated virus. Knowledge of machine learning is required. Knowledge in biology and cell culture bioprocess techniques is desirable.
You will work on very hot topic of scientific machine learning that merges domain-specific knowledge with machine learning. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team that includes scientists in different fields from the University of Ottawa as well as several other Canadian universities and research centers.
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in STEM disciplines obtained in the past three years, with evidence of research productivity. Good oral and written English skills are required.
This position is open to citizens of any nationality, but preference will be given to citizens and permanent residents of Canada. The starting date is September 2021. The position will remain opened until suitable candidates are found.
