Cambridge ELLIS Summer School on Probabilistic Machine Learning 15th to 19th July

The 3rd edition of the Cambridge ELLIS Summer School on Probabilistic Machine Learning will be held from the 15th to the 19th of July, in Cambridge, UK. Offering a comprehensive 5-day programme to graduate students, researchers, and professionals. 

Our summer school features world-renowned professionals and fascinating subject matter experts discussing advanced machine learning principles. Additionally, there will be poster sessions where participants can present their research and a Cambridge-style formal dinner for the school participants. 

Our speakers are leading experts in their fields, who will explain and discuss sophisticated ideas related to deep generative models, reinforcement learning, uncertainty quantification, probabilistic numerics and many others. We are happy to announce a list of highly regarded speakers already confirmed for this year, along with a preliminary list of subjects they will be covering. 

An extra poster session and a networking event sponsored by ELLIS Meetup will mark the conclusion of the Summer School 2024. This will provide an opportunity for the meeting and discussion of recent machine learning research, including both recently published and continuing work, among students, academics, and engineers from the broader Cambridge area (UK). 

Application

The school is expected to accept about 120 participants. Please apply online at:

Although priority will be given to young researchers (Master/PhD students in particular), applications from senior researchers and industrial professionals are welcome as well.

Applicants should apply by May 8, 2022.

Notification of acceptance will be sent by May 22, 2022.

 

Fees

There is no fee for attending. Coffee and lunch will be provided to participants on each day and dinner on the last day. Attendees will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
