The machine learning group at Humboldt University (HU) of Berlin is looking for prospective PhD and Postdoc candidates in the area of machine learning. Relevant topics include (but are not limited to) multiple kernel learning, multitask learning, Rademacher complexities and statistical learning theory, as well as genetics applications.

As common in Germany, payment will be according to very competitive German TVL E-13 or E-14 payment scheme, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. HU Berlin is Berlin's oldest research university and one of the 10 German excellence universities awarded by the German Federal Government.
