We are looking for an enthusiastic Research Fellow to work on generative deep learning for compressed sensing.
TOPIC DESCRIPTION: The objective is the design and deployment of generative deep learning methods for acquisition and reconstruction of sparse or compressible signals, with application to one or more of the following fields: image and audio super-resolution, fast magnetic resonance imaging, image-to-image translation, compressed sensing in the hyper-complex domain.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Master Degree or PhD (preferred) in a relevant discipline; working or research experience in the field of speech processing, audio analysis and deep learning; basic knowledge of audio signal processing and deep learning; programming skills in Python. A good track record of publications is a plus.
WORK LOCATION: The main workplace is the ISPAMM Laboratory, located in the shadow of the Colosseum, at DIET Dept., Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. The ISPAMM is a vibrant and challenging research group, whose research activities are related to the areas of Machine Learning for Signal Processing, Adaptive Signal Processing, Audio Signal Processing, Neural Networks for Signal Processing, Optimization Algorithms for Machine Learning.
DURATION: 12 months starting from June 2021
GROSS SALARY: € 19.367,00
APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 1, 2021
