Research assistants/internships at MBZUAI, UAE: ML for text classification

The research group of Prof. Chih-Jen Lin (https://mbzuai.ac.ae/study/faculty/chih-jen-lin/) from MBZUAI in UAE is searching for full-time research assistants/internships to join a machine learning project for 6-12 months (3 months possible though less preferred). The team aims to research multi-class/multi-label text classification and develop the open-source software LibMultiLabel (https://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/~cjlin/libmultilabel). Throughout the research project, you would learn how to design machine learning techniques to solve text classification problems. Further, you would optimize LibMultiLabel to improve user experiences.

The position provides competitive compensation and does not ask for a specific degree (BS, MS, and PhD are all welcome). But it requires your time and dedication to do high-quality research and development. The start date can be any time in 2023, though earlier is better.
