We are pleased to invite applications for a fully funded PhD position (Stipend 1) at Aalborg University, Copenhagen.
The position is part of the PAGE lab and focuses on research at the intersection of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Knowledge Graphs (KGs), and Large Language Models (LLMs), with a particular emphasis on historical texts and cultural heritage data.
The project aims to develop an ontology-guided pipeline that transforms historical texts into rich, queryable Knowledge Graphs, enabling advanced search, entity linking, and discovery of hidden relations across sources.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary and international research environment, contributing to high-impact publications and engage with ongoing work in areas such as multilingual NLP, LLM, and knowledge-enhanced AI.
We are looking for motivated candidates with a strong background in computer science, machine learning, NLP, or related areas.
