A 3-year postdoctoral position in NLP on Evaluating Large Language Models is available at the University of Oslo, Norway. This position is funded by the DSTrain program (https://www.uio.no/dscience/english/dstrain/) and EU Horizon Europe.
The deadline for the applications is April 6, 2025. The applicants should come up with a short project description and get in touch with the contact person (me) beforehand to discuss their project proposals. The project should fall within the topic of theme LTG1: "Evaluating large language models - model architectures, training regimes and data selection". The selected applicant will start their postdoctoral project no later than October 1, 2025. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be employed at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The appointment will be a full-time position lasting for three years, with 10% of the time dedicated to mandatory duties, typically teaching. It is not possible to be appointed for more than one Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Oslo.
